The High-Performing Man (and where he needs to grow)
There is a type of man who comes to us all the time. They show up in our groups, circles, retreats, and in individual therapy.
This type of man is the high performing man.
This man goes from a place of what society calls “success” - in business, in finance, and in community - to therapeutic settings, where it is humbling to watch him struggle as the human being that he is.
He might be an amazing boss, performer, artist, creator, author…but is he a great partner, father, friend or husband?
Being competent in a relationship takes different skills than the rest of your life. While some things, like making money or leading, come naturally to this man, he might actually be deeply out of touch with himself and his emotional landscape. The problem is: This man is actually missing out on the richness of life.
By working to access those uncharted parts of himself, this man can become even more powerful - by being vulnerable in his partnership, showing up authentically for his family, building friendships based on true masculine brotherhood, and leading others with more awareness and perspective.
If this sounds like you or someone you know, tune in!
